SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING is the fitness wave of the future; HANDS DOWN! Personal training is expensive and most people cannot afford it, however, professional instruction and attention should be allowed for the masses. By working out in small groups you are allowed all the benefits of personal one-on-one attention without the traditionally high one-on-one cost.
Small Group Personal Training The Small Group Fitness Way
Here at Small Group Fitness we offer SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING with no more than 4 people per small group. Small Group Fitness has small group sessions that start throughout the day. Members have the ability to access the schedule from any computer via SMALLGROUPFIT.COM and schedule themselves into whatever SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING session they'd like.
Types Of Small Group Personal Training Sessions
The use of functional training is widely incorporated into many training programs today. The idea behind functional training is to incorporate workouts that will help more directly in real life. However, many functional workouts done in large gym chains use machines and other gym equipment, nothing found outside of the gym. In the real world weight is not always distributed evenly like on dumbbell, so how functional can it really be? At Small Group Fitness we use weights and instruments found more commonly in daily life to strengthening and train movement patterns done every day so they may be done with a lesser chance of injury.
Small Group Fitness is not your ordinary, run-of-the-mill training facility. Small Group Fitness is not like the vast majority of fitness studios and we pride ourselves on that. We do not have rows of cardio equipment or rows of machines that you find at 99% of all mega-gyms and personal training studios. Here at Small Group Fitness our SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING sessions are:
- Kettlebells
- Ultimate Sandbag
- Bodyweight/TRX/Olympic Rings
- Tire/Sledge/Rope
- Barbell/Dumbbell/Med Ball
- JumpRope
- Hybrid (Advanced Only)
Each SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING session is focused on one specific exercise modality and runs no more than 50 minutes. A lot of the movement patterns members do will be similar in each SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING session, however, by using each exercise modality separately allows for each session to still be uniquely different. Also, by having each SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING session set this way allows for members to have total control over their exercise experience. This allows for members to be able to pick how they like to workout and to avoid the ways they don't, and be able to pick sessions that are convenient to their schedule.
All Beginner sessions have the word "Beginner" in the title (Beginner Bodyweight/TRX/Olympic Rings) and in Beginner sessions we go over the basics of each modlity of exercise. Even if you go to the gym everyday but have never used a form of exercise you scheduled into then you are a beginner. There is more instruction in beginner sessions and they are much slower paced. The Intermediate sessions have less basic instruction and more progressions of the basics and move faster and our Advanced sessions have little to no instruction and move very fast. To make sure that everyones learns and gets comfortable with the modalities of exercise here at SGF, we ask that everyone start in Beginner sessions. Our main obvjective at SGF is to make sure nobody gets hurt or to seriously limit the chances. Nobody achieves their goals while being consistently injured or hurting. The best way to reduce the chances of injury is to learn what you're doing, starting with the basics. The best way to do anything effectively and in timely manner is to learn what you're doing and not just do it! Members will have the option of purchasing one-on-one sessions with a certified personal trainer.
